The SI Vault counts $SI that a wallet locks to itself on Streamflow, where nobody can cancel the lock, as still held everywhere on sicto.si, with a Vault level from I to IV for how long it stays locked.

Locked $SI keeps counting in the Holder Seasons daily check, the SI Passport holding tier, SI Council vote weight and the Holder Hall. Levels go by time left: I for 30 days, II for 90, III for 180 and IV for a year or more.
Locking is not staking: nothing is paid for it and there is no yield. The $SI stays in a Streamflow escrow that only the locking wallet can claim after its date, and sicto.si never holds it.

Can I unlock early?
Not with a Vault lock. With every cancel option off, the $SI stays locked until its date.
